Defining LEED/Green
LEED/Green (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design) is the US Green Building Council's (USGBC) rating system. LEED/Green is a voluntary and consensus-based national standard for developing high performance, sustainable new buildings based on accepted energy and environmental principles. LEED/Green certification for any new construction project acknowledges those projects that have shown their commitment to sustainability.
